As Father’s Day is near soon, you can see
the air around you changing just like any other special day. The social media
goes all hype, there are ads, blogs, articles, gifts and what not to see around
everywhere.
The bond we share with our father is as special as the one with our mother and we all have one in a kind of father who loves us a lot even if he doesn’t says so. But not all fathers are the same, even they can be classified into many categories:
The Disciplinarian:
YES, this is the one we most identify. Haven’t we all been once
threatened with dialogues like ‘Wait till your father gets home’ or ‘ask daddy
about it’ or ‘let daddy come then he’ll see you’? Yeah yeah I know, those are
quite identifiable for every kid who has grown up in a house where father was
the moral policeman at home and we were simply too scared to make any argument in
front of him.
The work and only work dad:
He is the one often coming late from work and never taking offs
for a family picnic or get together. He is simply the only work no play though
not as threatening as the disciplinarian but doesn’t really as well bonds with
his kids and is always absent when it’s time for family fun.
Sporty Daddy:
These are the ones that follow sports religiously be it cricket,
soccer, basketball or any other. They simply become glued and immovable from the
couch in front of the T.V when there are leagues and sport seasons going on. However,
they also love playing as well and actively make their children participate in sports
meet by bringing them to practice regularly without fail.
Gadget freak:
He loves playing video games more than playing soccer and is simply obsessed
with his smartphones, google watch, car and gizmos. If you had this dad then
you’d surely enjoyed geeky technology talks and if you were not so into gadgets
than we know how hard it would have been to bond to the dad who was always
elated.
The Cool Dad:
This is my favorite dad. He is chilled, he is cool and simply awesome. He
likes to teach his kids all the life hacks he knows without and preaching. Is
all fun and no seriousness.
Buddy Daddy:
He was your first friend and became the best one you shared all your secrets
with (yeah even about your first date) and hanged out with a glass of chilled
beer.
So, after reading this list could you
figure out which type of dad you have?
